By Zander Himself (with a little help from Lauren Nightingale)
Morning:
I wake up exactly when the sun kisses the tops of the Wobblewood trees.
(Okay, sometimes I sleep in. Being magical is exhausting, you know!)
First thing I do? Stretch my toes, wiggle my tail, and recite my “Limerick of the Day.”
“There once was a wizard named Fred,
Who slept upside down in his shed.
But when spells went astray,
His shoes ran away—
And now he wears teapots instead!”
(Hey, they can’t all be winners.)
Midday:
By noon, Miranda usually bursts in yelling things like:
“Zander! There’s a fairy stuck in the bubble barrel again!”
This is where I shine.
With a flick of my tail and a word or two (plus a sneeze), I save the day.
Unless I get stuck too.
Which happens… often.
Afternoon:
Time for serious stuff.
-
Checking the Squabbleberry Bushes™ (they get mouthy)
-
Avoiding the Troll (unless I have new jokes)
-
Helping Miranda with magical research (translation: eating snacks while she works)
Evening:
After sunset, I cozy up by the Glowmoss Lamp™ and write more limericks for tomorrow.
Sometimes Miranda joins me.
Sometimes Tanglethorn™ drops by to complain that my limericks made her broom snort sparks.
At night, I dream of sparkly adventures, bubble-bursting contests, and finally being crowned:
“Wobblewood’s Funniest Salamander.”
(Which, let’s face it, I already am.)
What about YOU?
If you could spend a day in Wobblewood, what magical creature would you visit first?
Tell me in the comments!
See You Soon!
